Update from josh

Well going though the MTC was a blast. I met a lot of awesome missionary's and I had two companions, Elder White, and Elder Baird both of them are from Utah. It was tough teaching lessons in a 3 way companionship but we made it work for 3 weeks. When I got to Oklahoma i was Shocked, its so Flat! But i absolutely love the plains of Oklahoma. when we got to the Mission home we to know each other and then our mission President. He asked us if we knew just by looking at him. If we knew where he served his mission. I raised my hand and I said.... Scotland. He said that's right how could you tell. I said because of your tie. then he asked in this mission we do something that sets us a PART from some other missions. I again raised my hand and looked around at the assistants and at president. I said you part your hair. later I had a interview with him and he told me he was surprised i knew all those Questions. I don't mean to Bragg but I was pleased in knowing those questions. The next day I was introduced to my new Companion, Elder McEwen from California. He had been out for 9 months and when I got there he couldn't take serving a mission any longer. Two weeks later he went home. So they brought in another Missionary. From SEATTLE WASHINGTON. Elder Carlson. We got a long very well. we served together for 4 weeks. Then his 2 years was up. so he went home. now I'm with Elder Chriss from Gilbert Arizona. we have been serving together for 8 weeks now. before we knew each other we met at a zone conference and i was turned around talking to my District leader about somethings and Elder told me to turn around and listen. I thought he was a jerk then. but now serving with each other we have a pretty good friendship and we work together very well. I am serving in the Tulsa east Stake. My area is Henryetta Oklahoma.

Josh's Farewell

Today is January 22nd. We got to hear from Josh at church in sacrament. He really brought the spirit today. He is definitely ready to go. Can't wait to get his letters from the MTC and his mission to hear all the great things he gets to be a part of! Proud of you buddy!
